About 100 kind of freshwater fishes or amphibians that inhabit in the rivers and ponds of Saitama Prefecture are bred and displayed.
There is Miyakotanago which is designated as a special natural
treasure. There also are rare Musashitoyomi and Mujinamo.
(I regret I don't know how to say those in English.)
There is a artificial pond in the garden, and fishes are bred there.
