The Jumbo Koinobori(Carp-shaped streamer) Festival is held at the Tonegawa River in Kazo-City.
The Koinobori is the biggest one in the world. The total length of streamer is 111 meters and the weight is 350 Kilograms.
The koinoboris are traditionally flown on Boy's Day(May 5) in Japan, and Kazo-City was the biggest city in Japan for supplying koinoboris
in 1940s.
The Jumbo Koinobori is flown twice at 11:00a.m. and at 1:00p.m.
The Right bank of the Tonegawa River is filled with people.
The Jumbo koinobori can be seen far from a distance.
