The Sawara Taisai Festival has a tradition about 300 years, and is one of the three biggest Float Festival in Kanto district. The festival is designated as an national important intangible cultural assets. The festival also held on one of continuous Friday, Saturday and Sunday during July 9 through July 18.
The fourteen floats parade around the Sawara Station. On the summer festival, ten floats parade around the Yasaka Shrine.		The festival gets into full swing at the night.
